Sir Isaac newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and ehtologian. He was born in a poor and illiterate family but went on to become a philosopher and scientist who illuminiated many things for the world. Among his major discoveries: light and prism, force and inertia, gravity and planetary motion, and the invention of Calculus. Newton was the Master of the Mint and the President of the Royal Society. He sparred with Leibniz over the invention of Calculus.
